Brian,Richard:"Let's hope". How about dream.

This is not the same 'CHINA' the historian studied.

However pride and bright the Chinese are, the gov. always
brainwashed them to be something different from what
the people are capable of and should be.

I'm not a believer in 'Jesus'/God. If there is one,
I blame 'IT' on China's problem. It's so unreal. How
can a beautiful country with smart people and with so many
years of distinct culture/civilization, always so backward
in Politic/Governing? (need to edit, I think the culture
has been erased during one of those revolution)

Is it BAD LUCK? Is it FATE?

Why 'Taiwan' is so important to China's "leader" is beyond
me. I wish they have better things to do.

History said that 'Taiwan' is always given to some foreign
country whenever China lost a war. So what is the deal
of 'unification'.

There are so many ways to show one is a pride country, on
pure "bad luck" to Chinese, 'the power' never seemed to
get the priority right. Worst, it always picked 'WAR'.

Chinese history always had war, it used to be 'this
kingdom' beats the shit out of the 'other kingdom' and
you know who suffered.

Chinese in China want "unification", 'brainwashed'?

Chinese in Hong Kong will support "unification", well,
is there a choice?

Some oversea Chinese may verbally support 'China' and
I don't give much to those words until they are ready
to move back to China.

Oddly, for China's sake, it's better to have Taiwan on
her own.

Maybe, just maybe China will prosper much faster as
demanded by the people due to competition/comparision.
(edit-2, 'demand by ... people', now that's new)

The gov' has been hiding behind this 'unification', too
long and too successful in getting the priority right.

Here are the goals/plans the China should have:

1. Give Taiwan 1 week to decide if they want to be part of
China. Anyone from Taiwan who wants to go back to China
should do it now before China close the border.

2. After that, Taiwan is on her own and strict immigration
law prohibit 'Taiwanees' to go back to China as Chinese.
Just like American or any other country in the world who
wants to be Chinese.

3. No Chinese will risk their lives to be smuggled to
foreign countries.

4. Millions of forigner lined up to apply for immigration
to China (like U.S.A), annually.

5. Annual debate on renewing 'most favorite nation' status
to the "undeserving" U.S.A or any other such country.

6. Increase patrol on neighboring borders to stop illegal
entries to China.

It would be great if China has these goals/plans.

Looked at the Taiwanese after election. They just don't
play it fair in politics.

It's in the gene and American's Bio-tech.com should
patent it.

God(?) bless China.
