Even though AMD is a public company, Sanders runs it like a personal fiefdom. Anybody who is named second in command at AMD has to watch his %ss, Sanders is probably out to get him if he ever thinks about taking over the top spot.

Sanders is pretty amazing. He is the last of the Fairchild semiconductor alumnus that is still active. How much longer does he have before he runs out of gas. He's been at it for more than 30 years. What happens to AMD when he leaves. The closets are probably full of skeletons.

I have been tempted, but AMD, IMO, is a very dangerous investment not only because it has to compete with Intel, it also has to be able to survive Sanders. Very iffy.
