Lindy,
For the same reason of keeping with Gorilla Game accuracy, I'm now going to disagree with you and stand along side Greg on a couple of issues.
Greg wrote: Are you telling me that is not worth looking for tornados, or stocks crossing the chasm, if they will never get to be a Gorilla? I refuse to play the game that way.
You responded: If you don't want to play that game, you are on the wrong playing field.
That part of Greg's strategy is in agreement with the manual in that the manual dictates buying stocks not knowing which, if any, will become Gorillas.
About Q, Greg wrote: When I bought QCOM last year right about now, I had no idea, that it would rise as much or would have as big a impact on the high tech world as it will.
You responded: That is because you have not read the book, or participated in our discussions. If you had you would have known what Q was and where it was going.
First, Greg already stated that he has read the manual and in fact has quoted from it. More important though is that I don't have the smallest reason to doubt his credibility.
As far as not knowing how far Q would rise, you'll remember that my presentation in San Diego was partly on that very subject in which I entirely agree with Greg. As for not knowing the impact it "will" have on the high-tech world, a year ago I'm not aware of anyone who appreciated how far along HDR was at the time. So I have to fundamentally agree with Greg on that point also.
Just my opnion, as always, regardless of who I agree or disagree with. :)
