Spiral3, I have completed my research on ELON. My opinion is that it is a sound company with good technology in a market area that is likely to grow very fast. The electric dereg. will create more opportunities than anyone realizes today. The price already is looking forward to these events, but I can't really place a current value on it. I would go long at some lower price, the upside potential is too large to consider shorting. Will just watch in the current price range, might consider some cheap call options. This is one case where DD and positive dialog with those who follow the stock changed my outlook on shorting it. Thanks to all who helped with my questions. Now that I have said all that, it will probably tank. <gg>
