Well, if you don't like the idea of buying a put (with its time limit) how about shorting Intel. Could there be any risk associated with shorting Intel? Let's face it, they've blown every single product introduction for the last 8 months, either by having to recall faulty product, or not being able to produce whatever was announced - whatever competence Intel once may have had is clearly gone.

So what percentage of your portfolio have you dedicated to shorting Intel? 10%? 25%? Or have you shorted Intel with all your liquid assets and cover margin reserves by pledging your home?
