The going concern statement is required to be made under various circumstances, but generally is applied to the circumstance existing when the current cash and assets and not sufficient to pay the current liabilities. The reason it may not apply to the instant case is that he cash infusion which came as a result of the stock offer changed the cash without changing the liabilities. Got a going concern problem......sell some stock and increase equity thus transferring the risk onto the investors.
