Hi all - a bit more commentary on Xros redherring.com it seems that Xros 1000 scales best Lucent says the LambdaRouter can switch 256 light paths at the same time -- enabling service providers to direct network traffic 16 times faster than electrical switches. Xros officials say the company's X-1000 switch can connect 1152 light paths. with Agilent's the distance third, albeit a truly light switch, with 28*28? best, Bosco
