Well, I wouldn't count on that logic for your expected selling pressure. Take Fido as an example. At 2-29-00 they have converts equal to 1.3mm shares. They have another 28.6mm common shares. My logic is either they are going to unload some stock at these prices and find a chair before the music they started stops, or continue the jam job. I hear Venik is in this, too - remember him? -s-

Soooo, the conversion may coincide with a fall in the stock price, but it will not be the reason. The reason will be the big boyz have spread enough of their regular holdings out to the suckers and decide to let it fall back to earth.

Another interesting question is what will TXN do? They are sitting on 41.2mm common stock equivalents. I don't know who is going to blink first or when.

Some guy over on the POS thread was saying Boise shut down a few blocks and everyone had a big mu party and that the governor was thinking about declaring some sort of official POS holiday. I don't know if he was joking or not, but there are some happy campers there. -g-
