Interesting, I got this in an email newsletter I subscribe to...the inclusion of Dr. Koop and medscape in this list could bode quite well for a cash-rich medsite after ipo:

DOT-COMS RUNNING LOW ON CASH
A new study commissioned by Barron's and conducted by Pegasus Research
International predicts that at least 51 Internet companies will run out of
cash before the year is out. Companies forecast to need a cash infusion in
the near future include CDNow, Secure Computing Corp., drkoop.com, Medscape, and Peapod, but Pegasus says many of these companies will not be successful
in raising cash through stock flotations, and may be forced to sell out or
close their doors. The report estimates that Amazon's cash reserves will be
depleted in 21 months unless it's successful in generating revenues that
exceed its expenditures. (Reuters/Financial Times 20 Mar 2000)
