Smithee stood us up!!
(Not really, but I couldn't resist.) Sarkie went up to this guy and asked him if he were Smithee. LOL!
We met the following SIers: KLP, LRNLTN, Roger Sherman, silver soldier (aka Silver Tongue Devil), Kevin Rogers, bucko0 (who came up to us asking if we were the Netrillionaires!), plus the GNET crew who knew who we all were! We've never laughed so much in our entire lives. And the Seattle SIers were sooo nice - took many tours, out every night, saw the sights, I can't tell you how great everyone was.
John R, investor relations, gave us a tour of Go2Net (all the employees knew us too - they read the threads), pictures with Russ, he showed us his office, and wore his cool jacket for us. |
