The Bre-X fiasco has devistated the Canadian markets.
Not so much the rest of the world. Until the Indonesia situation is
clarified, the juniors should remain depressed.

Among the majors, Hecla (HL) looks very attractive for a short
term play. At 5 1/4 to 5 1/2 It should reach 6 1/2 to 7
in the next month or 2. Although thought of as a silver stock,
HL gains most of it's revenue selling gold.

As I stated previously, as long as gold closes above $340, their
is no need to panic. Wave structure indicates this price to be
a low that will not be reached for a few years at least.
