Re: CPQ - Well, I first started buying SUNW in late 1995 and for the most part ended in 1997, and I'm here to tell you I've done MUCH better than I would have done with CPQ. :) --- Thanks for the specifics on that Compaq stuff. There are quite a few things I didn't know, like that StrongArm came from DEC. --- I like what you said about "Unix standard bearer", and the 'one thing well' thing. If the internet is Unix standards and Sun is the Unix standard bearer, it seems to me there's a gorilla in there someplace. <g> --- Anyway, I really got a lot out of that book. -JCJ
