Rocky:re the MP3 and Napster and the article you published.

There are two aspects,
1) The ethics
2) Whats actually happening

Whilst I may or may not condone (1) the fact is that MP3 and related aspects (Napster, Gnutella etc) are going to irreparably damage and forever change the music industry.
Not neccessarily to the detriment of the artists, but definitely to the detriment of the big record labels.

A change that might not have occurred had the industry not charged $15 for a piece of plastic that probably costs 10c to produce and that the music artist gets only $1 or less for.

End of the day I dont know how this is going to pan out, but I suspect that if CD's were say $2 or $3 people would still buy them. If they think they are being ripped off however, then people are going to say 'screw you buddy, I'll take it for free'. Whether or not that is ethically correct doesnt matter because its happening and its going to get bigger. And incidentally there is nothing the industry can do about it. Whatever protection schemes they come up with, the hackers will always be one step ahead.

Why do you think our share price is so high?

Be clear, I'm neither condoning nor denigrating, just pointing out whats going to happen.

Joe
