About.com's CEO Kurnit's quote about investors not understanding About.com is a platform they can leverage is an understatement to say the least. Stock off 7$ today and it doesn't look like the street will wake up until the revenues actually show up, which they'll do inside 12 months. To Street: "A network of 700 vertical sites led by expert guides" is potentially very valuable. Each of these sites has rapidly growing newsletter subscribership and importantly each vertical garners high ad rates and foreshadows future business possibilities due to the targeting. About.com Gets B2B Religion, Forms Unit zdii.com It's funny how certain threads get no traffic. It's as if no one has heard of About.com. I blame that damn butler.
