Tom, Forbes latest ASAP edition has a blurb on JBL. Their growth and earnings for next 6 months year ending 8/2000 seems fairly defined at a total of 3.5 bill and 85 cents split per share. For next year their seems differences in opinion with anywhere from 30+ growth to 70% growth. There net margins also will be interesting to watch with their greenfields in Hungary and expansions in Brazil and Mexico. When SCI went thru a large expansion program with their sites, the earnings took a hit as well as growth and the stock took a hit in 98. Turned out to be a great buying opportunity. JBL's net margin about 4.1 should IMO be able to be continued. I think Paul K is in the higher growth group based on some of his posts re JBLs growth rate versus SLR. I think Patroller should tell us what to expect but he has been quiet recently probably tending to his grass. I guess I am at about the 50% . During the CC the analysts tried to get guidance for 2001 both directly and indirectly but the company was not forthcoming except to reiterate there looonnng term growth planning of 30% in operating income. I think next quarter they will talk more. Read the prospectus on FLEX-DIIG deal which is worthwhile. Their 2001 blended rates and growth I think are somewhat up in the air as well but it looks favorable IMO.
