Jim, isn't it possible that Elmer wasn't lying about all those Coppermines. Maybe there really is a surplus of lower mhz PIII except Intel is witholding a certain amount until Dresden because AMD is capacity limited and Intel can maximize income by creating a shortage; ala OPEC. Before Athlon' Intel made money on its monopoly. After Athlon, Intel can make money on shortages until Willy and then try to get market share back.
