Conversation with CFO

I spoke to Bill Bambarger, CFO of RWD today. They have now fully integrated Merrimac into the company. They expect to have somewhere between $5-7 million in e-learning revenue this year. Merrimac did not have the capital needed to grow their business but now with RWD's financial resources behind them rapid growth is taking place.

As evidenced by last month's press release announcing $10 million in ERP contracts, RWD's ERP business has fully recovered from the Y2K slowdown. The Y2K problem forced a lot of smaller players out of the business and many companies that might previously have gone to them are now coming to RWD. RWD has been hiring and they need more people to handle the demand for their ERP business.

Their Internet business is going very well. Mr. Bambarger pointed out that they have been doing Internet related work for several years now, including jobs for clients such as John Deere and Citibank. However, the addition of Dr. Yager at the ATL has given their Internet business a large boost. From his past work Dr. Yager has many contacts which are being used to develop business for RWD. RWD is also actively recruiting people to handle the demand for Internet products and services.

The next earnings release will be out the week of April 17th. Mr. Bambarger stated the quarter is looking good and they will meet or exceed expectations.

I got off the phone with Mr. Bambarger shortly before 3:00 EST and at that time bought another 2000 shares of RWDT.
