Len,

I just got my e book reader today. And, it has been impossible to register. First, you have to have Microsoft Explorer installed.

Are you saying that you have a dedicated eBook that needs a browser of some flavor or that you are actually trying to read a book on a PC device? If the latter, it is not a surprise to me.

I believe that both eBook pioneers, now part of the Gemstar brain-trust, have much sooner concurred with your PC-centric experience. The internet concept of OS and/or related browser-centricity is fairly close to becoming historical as the information revolution matures past adolescence. Thank you, Darwin.

Henry has always been a few moves/years ahead of the competition. Where Microsoft is trying to cuff this emerging industry to its brassware, Gemstar represents the freedom and elimination of such. Market proven reasoning says that a user-empowering strategy will have greater success and therefore marketshare. The fleet afoot with a strategically aimed sling will drop any Goliath in path especially if such a David has the backing of formerly slain Goliaths.

Just my admittedly biased and yet sincere deduction.

Regards
Stew
