>Tom and his merry band are longtime slanderers of rmbs, inlcuding when >rmbs stock was at 66 and prior. The agenda is clear.
You really are in a state of denial? It's not just a river in egypt, you know. Blame the messenger, not the message. The entire industry knows RDRAM is a joke. EVERYONE. I read close to a dozen hardware sites every week, and probably another dozen gaming sites. These guys review hardware all the time, and they *ALL* came to the same conclusion, that RDRAM is a complex overpriced failure that is going to be overrun by DDR RAM and plain old pc-133 SDRAM.
Hell, even Intel has stated that their high end wilamette servers are going to be designed around DDR ram, because the transfer rate is 3 times that of RDRAM. THAT IS INTEL'S OWN PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Nothing short of seeing this stock collapse back into the single digits is going to change your mind, obviously. It's like arguing about 20 million year old fossils with a bible-banger who is POSITIVE the world was created 4 thousand years ago and all the historical record was planted there by god to confuse the nonbelievers.
I didn't lose a dime on RMBS puts. But, for the record, I am short 2,000 shares of the common about 10 points above the current price, and I've got around $200k worth of puts that are 100 points out of the money. All positions were initiated today.
And I don't care if you don't believe that I own those positions- but even in your eyes my "fantasy" position is about to skyrocket in value, and you know it. |
