No, they just prefer the fan which the 1 GHz Coppermine does not have. Mani, From what I understand, there are no powered fans in Intel's 1 G. Instead Intel puts 2 nanomen in with each chip and they wave nanofans whenever you boot up. Its great....reduces power consumption and the nanomen eat very little. You might think about apologizing to Engel. ted
