Summit/Viewlogic Shareholders Approve Merger
BEAVERTON, Ore., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Shareholders of Summit Design, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMMT - news) and Viewlogic Systems, Inc. today at separate meetings approved the merger of the two companies. The resulting company, Innoveda, Inc., will be headquartered in Marlboro, Mass. at the current home of Viewlogic's corporate headquarters. The companies said they expect the merger to close before the end of the month, subject to customary closing conditions.
