With all due respect, the above is a dumb strategy. I had a friend who bought ORCL in '99 at a presplit price of $33. While the stock hit it's lows of $19 and some change, he was a solid holder, however, as the stock turnd around he exited his position at $39 and you know what ORCL has done since mid '99.

If Kimble roude out the worst this past year, why get off the train early, especially when the train is barely picking up speed? If at the worst of times Kimble didn't exit his position, why do it now? Diversified or not.
