That is one of many reasons SEVT is a hold for me.
Firepak, Inc. Given Exclusive License
BURLINGTON, WA, February 23, 2000 -- International Aero, Inc.'s subsidiary, Firepak, Inc., was given an exclusive license to sell the Company's FlameOut(TM) and FirePower 911(TM) fire suppressant products to the aerospace industry and military establishments worldwide.
They have also been given an exclusive license to sell these products to the petrochemical industry in the U.S. Gulf Coast area. In addition, Firepak has established a distrubution network throughout Europe with Pyrogen Ltd. in Bolton UK for the European Union members and associates.
International Aero Inc., has invested in a new state of the art fire test facility. Our long standing goal of improved airline cabin safety has lead to the establishment of the IAI Fire Suppression Laboratory. The newly completed facility opened January 02, 2000. The laboratory is designed to do most of the current and proposed FAA mandated certification test. The new facility incorporates a 4 x 4 meter square exhaust hood to support both small and medium scale live fire test. In addition to the current requirements IAI is involved with several international aviation safety committees, determining the future of airline safety.
Firepak, Inc. conducts research programs to improve fire safety in commercial transport aircraft. The research is comprised of two separate but complimentary programs: Advanced Fire Fighting Agents and Fire Resistant Materials. Both are long range programs to develop the enabling technology for ultra-fire resistant aircraft and interior materials that can be applied in the aftermarket to the existing worldwide airline fleet.
International Aero manufactures and reconfigures the interiors for the world's commercial aircraft fleet during their periodic overhauls. It is believed to be the largest company of its kind in the world. It's subsidiary, Firepak, Inc. proposes to replace, with Summit Environmental Corp. fire suppressants, the Halon-filled hand held extinguishers now found in aircraft in the cockpits and cabins, and the automatic extinguishers in lavatories and galleys. International Aero is developing a water misting system for cabin and cargo compartments on commercial aircraft, using patent technology developed by the US Navy's "Naval Air Systems Command". By combining this cutting edge technology with the properties of flameout as an alternative to HALON 1301 is envisioned. In addition a Class B fire fighting foam, is in development made from Summit's fire suppressants, is designed to directly replace the presently used foam called "AFFF" that is used in airport Crash Vehicles, to fight jet fuel fires. Firepak, Inc. has in final testing a Jet Engine "Gas Path Cleaner" that is non toxic and biodegradable for use on commercial aircraft engines.
This cleaner can improve the efficiency of airliner engines reducing the fuel cost associated with commercial operations. |
