can you put that in simpler terms for the peanut gallery? Do you give INTC credit for doing anything great?

The quality of Rambus which makes it interesting is that it can transfer large amounts of consecutive bytes of data in a short time. However, desktop microprocessors rarely move more than 32 bytes of data at a time, so Rambus provides little if any performance benefit.

I have made numerous posts recently describing my expectations for Willamette, which are quite high.
