JDN, I am wondering if streaming Video and Voice Recognition software will enhance the value of having RDRAM? It is hard to say. Current microprocessors will only request the data in small chunks, so RDRAM won't provide any benefit. However, it is possible to imagine a CPU being designed with a large scratchpad RAM that allows big chunks of data to be burst in for such applications. Scumbria
