I had the same scare for a second when my Webbroker portfolio value was way down...JDX at zero. I believe the Transfer agent for the company keeps track of who owns shares, sends out company reports etc., and probably is responsible for updating the Security Database that the Securities Industry uses....Company names, CUSIP #'s, Symbols etc. What bothers me is that iTech management should be all over their Transfer Agent to get this done......... because I agree that the symbol confusion is having a negative impact on the stock price.
