We're talking round-trip, at 9:30pm at night, after a long day of finishing her thesis and throwing a party, in a neighborhood she likely was unfamiliar, after telling someone how tired she was. Yes, scenarios where Suzanne walked to where she was found are quite possible but not very probable, IMO.

I think the point has been made often enough that comments about being tired are often a polite way of disengaging from someone. She could have several reasons, perhaps she was late for a rendezvous, she didn't like the guy, or she really was tired, but we don't know.

Also, perhaps you don't remember college life very well Jeff, but at 9:30 on a Friday night, I was just getting ready to start my evening. Even after a long day.
