"As the only source for an NSA-certified secure remote access solution, it
is imperative that Kasten Chase be positioned to effectively meet the U.S.
government's substantial requirements," said Steve Ducat, vice-president
and general manager. "Recently, we expanded our production capacity through
our partnership with MSI of Central Florida. With Alan's appointment, we
are executing on our plans to grow our sales organization starting from the
top."
"Revenues for RASP Secure Access grew 330 per cent in 1999. My first

sales force with new hires throughout the year, recruit sales channels
where appropriate and partner with business development firms."
Kasten Chase is finalizing contracts with search firms in Boston and
Washington DC to add as many as 12 sales and marketing professionals by
year-end. To complement its direct sales force, the company will establish
partnerships with a number of experienced government channels and business
development partners.
Mr. Kittson joined Kasten Chase in November, 1996, as director of Canadian
sales. In June, 1998, he assumed responsibility for North American sales of
the company's InterTalk business unit and was instrumental in tripling
revenues during his tenure. Before joining Kasten Chase, Mr. Kittson held a
number of senior sales and marketing positions within the IT industry. In
total, he has more than 15 years' experience serving public sector and
commercial markets.
