Thanks for the input MikeM54321. I have been doing a little sleuthing since I noticed the underground power lines being marked off on my street. From my conversation with the subcontractors cutting in the junction boxes yesterday I gathered that they will be laying new co-ax to each house. Maybe fiber too, but I think that would be for future use. I am happy that some new services are coming, but I can't figure out how in the heck anyone could make money putting in all new wiring to each house. How many of the 11 houses on my street would have to get the service (and for how long) for these guys to make any money. It also seems odd to add a new co-ax cable to each house that is already wired with co-ax. Current tv service is by AT&T, but no cable modem or long distance (over the cable) available at this time. I'll be asking lots of questions to the various sub-contractors as this project continues. Will post if anything noteworthy comes up. Any other tidbits on Seren would be of interest to me. Thanks again.
