The G&K thread has Gemstar pegged as an emerging Gorilla, which would make it a good buy on any day. However, you may need to be patient, since they are awaiting ftc approval of their acquisition of TV Guide (tvgia). I wouldn't expect them to make any huge moves until that process is complete, but expect the merger to be completed next quarter.

Please note that my assessment may not be very objective; I am very long on the Gem, and think <dream> it has a chance to be the next Q.
