Jeffrey,

I think the bottom is very close. NAZ has pretty solid support in the 4200 - 4300 area, which is enough of a drop to qualify for a serious correction. As opposed to what is so far a mild one. I would be surprised if Alan does more than tap the brakes for a 1/4 point and his usual "vigilance" as the election heads for the home stretch. And things get strange in Taiwan. Maybe we can actually find a bargain or two in SemiCon stocks? I've tried recently, but everything was too pricey. Edit: WM looking strong this morning. A good sign?

I'm usually guilty of trying to catch one falling knife per major downdraft. It's sort of a hedge against missing the pivot point entirely, and while that play takes longer to make money -- and sometimes never does, 'tis true -- it has the effect of making me patient with them. I am less likely to sell 'em too soon, and a couple have made excellent money.

Anyway, this time it's CEGE. BRKT also looks interesting and may be bottoming. Like CEGE, BRKT has a stake in a high-flyer that tends to be discounted. Really helps trim the downside.

Wireless? We're already in wireless, remember? I take it you're thinking of something outside the satellite sector, though. Another industry where value is hard to find. I'll screen and keep my eyes open. Used to like MCOM. Maybe VOD?

Topped off the truck in DSCM. Sidewalls bulging a bit ;~}The Street seems leery of the ad campaign. I did not realize their target audience was focused so much on women. I guess it's the high margin cosmetics angle, so that's actually smart marketing. The other nice thing about the cosmetics angle is that it gets around the operational snags in the prescription biz I mentioned as an attempted customer of same.

I am not expecting KERA to do anything significant soon. Do you have a different read there? UROG, on the other hand, is heading for the clinic. Thus I expect news from them. This would explain why Aries is moving so fast. I'm going to be very busy today, but tomorrow I will take another slog through the filings. Also starting to look at the pattern for entry points, so that once the DD is done, I can act fast if I feel the need.

Plenty of dry powder and staying power, but I'm ready for the correction to end.

Cheers, Tuck
