i'm psychology oriented too and when i want to get a feel for how the individual investor is feeling and what they might do i have a little trick - i look at myself. duuuh!

i did that this morning and here's what i saw. a TAX TIME CAPSULE that doesn't end until april 14th. i made good profits in the market last year - i now need to take some of that out of the market and put it in the u.s. treasury. i'll take it from whatever gained the most, i.e., tech stocks and the NAZ. i may even try to race my fellow investors to get the cash out before they do. that's what's happening now.

not sure if this is the same TIME CAPSULE you're referring to but i think it's the dominant downward pressure we're seeing right now in the market.

ps- still frozen on the POLVO BEANO CC trades. QCOM's up a bit, very tempted to sell the margined shares and write the QCOM CC's right here at 132. i'm going to lunch and will look at it when i get back.
