Jack,

Thanks for the post. You said you weren't sure they could deliver a profitable first quarter (Aug. '97). Can I assume you think the current quarter will be a loss as well? As you said, "Show me the money" rules these days.

What about Verity as a merger candidate? Courtot would balk at anything based on today's valuations, but it would seem like a good fit to someone like Adobe.
