Hi Robert I am not an economist, just a short term trader. Maybe someone else could answer the question about strong dollar/Gold Gold stocks are still looking red. I did buy a couple hundred shares of BRE-X before the close on Friday. This is a gamble only. If Bre-X reports substantial gold deposits, Bre-X should soar on the news. If no Gold was foound the stock will probably fall more. Currently at about 2.50 share. Still being patient and waiting for turn-aroound in the gold sector, no green yet to be seen. Later, Sue
