New Edge Networks Selects CrossKeys to Manage US-wide Internet Access Network
CrossKeys Continues To Win Customers in New Entrant Marketplace, Enabling New Edge Networks to Deliver Quality of Service for Its Broadband Backbone And DSL Access Network
VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2000-- CrossKeys Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:CKEY - news; TSE:CKY - news) announced today that the leading national wholesale DSL service provider in small, midsize and semi-rural areas, selected CrossKeys Resolve(r) software for its national backbone network.
CrossKeys enables New Edge Networks to understand what is happening inside its network and how that affects customers. With this knowledge, New Edge Networks can address network issues to ensure consistent and cost-effective service delivery.

New Edge Networks is engineering its nation-wide network to support high-speed Internet access and local area network (LAN) interconnections. This network will support voice services, broadcast-quality video over DSL and a wide range of Internet Protocol (IP) and multimedia services.

New Edge Networks initiated DSL service last December, in Vancouver, Wash. Since then, the company has installed DSL network equipment in more than 150 locations for one of the fastest DSL rollouts. New Edge Networks plans to be operating in all 50 US states by early 2001.
CrossKeys Resolve portfolio enables service providers to manage the performance of telecom services they provide to business from the vantage points of internal network operations, overall service levels and individual customer-perceived experience. Such services range from voice, video-conferencing, eCommerce and Virtual Private Networks.
