Sorry if this is old news, but I was just reading Michael Murphy's Tech Investing for April 2000 in which he wrote...."DELL COMPUTER will set up, host and manage web sites for small businesses starting at $17.95 a month for a "splash page" up to $1,448 a month for active e-commerce. Needless to say, everything will run on DELL servers, but it isn't the hardware sale DELL is after--it's finding sources of recurring revenue by engaging more deeply with their huge, loyal customer base. Smart move. Eventually, this can be an IPO and add billions of dollars of value to the stock. It's a strong buy."
