Most of those shares were Sequoia's. They use to own 1.1+M shares. Valentine is considered a beneficiary of the shares, for SEC purposes. They sold over 1/2 of their holdings. That's not good, from the Chairman of the Board. It could mean 3 things;

1. Sequoia thinks they can make more money elsewhere.

2. A dispute. Valentine is leaving the Board.

3. Semiconductor needs more cash. Sequoia sells $50M+ of Microsystems to buy Semiconductor stock.
