Think long term, it will happen. During my brief visit to the G&K thread, I mentioned fuel cell industry was a tornado in the making and added something on the order of the following. Fuel Cells will be used in many applications, from powering cell phones to replacement for our car engines, and power for our houses. Someone from the G&K thread ask for detail numbers on the potential market. I pondered that question for second or two, and was about to post the following. My god man, I'm not about to calculate the entire replacement combustible engine market value, potential residential power replacement, portable generator market, not to mention the cell/handheld/lap top battery replacement markets values. All of the above mentioned applications for fuel cells and not in the lab anymore, they are in the field being tested. It's big man, it's really big. <g> The fuel industry flows right through one of my filters which follows (you never have heard this have you Doug? <g>) Before a buy a company, (unless I'm playing games), it has to be company that has the potential to change how we work, live and play. Fuel Cell industry has that in spades. One of the problems investing in the fuel cell industry that many, many, people see the potential, so there are a lot of different companies or even universities working on potential solutions, that fact makes it hard to find the best company to buy. (Frank if you are reading page 311 rule three of the Gorilla game. Just joking with you big guy.) The best approach would be to buy a basket, just like you just did with PLUG and BLDP. Since I feel replacement combustible engine market for fuel cells is the largest and here is the key which is another one of my filters, is easily understood by the masses, I picked BLDP as the stock to own.
