I put a chunk of my Grandmother-in-laws money into GE last summer. It's been a good performer. I also put some of her money into TYC - Berkshire-Hathaway (BRK.B) & LUV which has finally started to move in the last week or two. For excitement I added qcom, jdsu, and gmst. All in all a conservative portfolio but up about 50% since August when I began. It's much harder to invest someone elses money than it is your own.
