Folks are speculating about INSP's accounting over on the yahoo boards. Some are even comparing it to MSTR.. Where there's smoke there might be fire?

Story 2028 DJ Infospace.com Outlook -3: Acctg Practices In Compliance

Infospace said its accounting practices comply with all of the Securities and Exchange Commission's recent Staff Accounting Bulletins.

The company said this includes SAB 101, which generally requires revenue from customers for development fees, implementation fees and integration fees to be recognized on a straight-line basis.

The Internet information services company said it made the confirmation in response to inquiries about its practices, but it didn't elaborate further.

Company representatives weren't immediately available for comment.

Shares of Infospace closed Monday at 173, down 36 1/2 or 17.4%. Average daily volume is about 2.2 million shares.
