Strategic Agreement Between Leading E-Business Firms Adds Key Platform To Breakaway Solutions' Full Service Provider Model

(Nasdaq: BWAY - news), the leading Full Service Provider (FSP) of integrated strategy, e-business implementation, and application hosting solutions for growing enterprises, and Vignette (Nasdaq: VIGN - news), the leading provider of e-business applications, today announced a strategic agreement to help growing enterprises build successful e-businesses.
Under the agreement, Breakaway Solutions will be delivering Vignette's leading personalization and content management software platform to Breakaway Solutions' customers. In addition, the companies have signed a letter of intent, which will allow Breakaway Solutions' application service provider group to provide a hosted offering of Vignette's e-business platform.
By combining Vignette's award-winning e-business application platform with Breakaway Solutions' proven ability to help customers rapidly transfer their business visions on the Web, the combined team will help growing enterprises compete and win online. The relationship will allow Vignette and Breakaway Solutions to build a complete, integrated e-business solution for customers more quickly, while providing these customers with confidence in the underlying technology and services.
