RR,

They are having a conference call at 9:00 EST today to discuss the 2 million share buyback, acquisition and shortfall in the 1Q.

I would think the acquisition should add at least a dime for EPS annually going forward, although not that much in calendar '00 given that we are near the end of the first quarter. Deal is scheduled to close April 3rd I think. Will give them #1 market share in the wireless portable printer market, and I would think the wireless LAN market is growing faster than the more mundane areas Zbra is involved in.

They are saying that revenue shortfall was in the neighborhood of $5-$6 million, dunno what EPS # they will guide to. Should already be in the stock. They said $2 million is due to a order pushout that will ship in early April, part was due to a lumpy government contract, and that North American printer market was soft for whatever reason.

Something is a little fishy about the shortfall, but there is good support at $40 should we ever test that again. This company has more cash than they average bank too, although the are finally putting some of it to work. They generate a ton of free cash flow, although this market does not give any credit for things like that.

good luck
