When you sign up for SI, the rules of the road are made clear. You may choose whether or not to buy their service based on your view of their rules. The citizens of The Peoples Democratic Republic of China (do I have that correct?) are not so fortunate with regard to their ability to choose the "service" of the reigning dictators.

The concept of censorship properly applies only to government, which alone initiates the use of force when in censors someone. Organizations like SI can only say, "If you want to play here, these are the rules of the road."

There is all the difference in the world between SI's- or any voluntary organization's- use of "censorship" and a government's use of it. If you doubt that, ask the prisoners in China who are imprisoned for having given voice to thoughts the government does not like.
