BroadBand Wireless International Initiates Relationship With Cisco Systems For Fault-Tolerant Broadband Services Throughout Midwest and Southwest US

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2000-- BroadBand Wireless International Corporation (OTC BB: BBAN - news), today announced that it has become a newly Certified Member of the Cisco Powered Network program. The Company is also teaming up with Cisco Systems, Inc (NASDAQ: CSCO - news), the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet, to offer, under the program, a scaleable carrier-class network using Cisco's Vector Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (VOFDM) broadband, wireless technology and BPXT(TM) 8680-IP IP+ATM multiservice switch for business and residential customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, and Arizona.
BroadBand Wireless International, and its joint venture partner, BroadBand Wireless Communications Corporation, will utilize Cisco broadband, wireless and IP+ATM technology in their carrier-class, Cisco-based infrastructure to provide broadband, wireless connectivity, traditional dedicated circuit, dial access, and DSL services. Further, BBAN will offer its customers New World services such as unified messaging, streaming video, content services, and IP telephony using its Cisco network.
