your boy High-Tech East hasn't exactly been batting a thousand either ... from the twit ... and ...

With regard to Bio-Tech East <aka> kenny penny, I don't know what happened there. He may have had a stroke ... from JC

... you guys are cold, heartless and unkind <ggg> kicking me while I am down and gasping <ggg> and without addressing me directly either ... shame shame <ggg>

... I'm amazed ... some of you are actually watching my precious Abiomed (ABMD) which closed at 48 1/2 yesterday, 42% off its 52 week intraday high of 83 3/8 from just this past February 18 ...

Several things ... (1) Certainly I am disappointed with ABMD's recent price action ... hate to give those paper gains back ... but it is funny, it is so thinly traded and closely held that it is very volatile both up and down on very little volume. (2) The first two analyst reports, following the secondary offering of a few weeks ago, by Solomon Smith Barney and Bank of America Securities were excellent (although who would expect otherwise since they did the secondary). (3) There is no news driving the price either way - neither bad or good. (4) ABMD's public relations campaign has not begun yet and that will drive the price up quickly. (4) I have to remind myself that I held SUNW from May, 1997 until October, 1998 before the price broke above my purchase price for the long term ... patience, boy patience. (5) I am not pleased of late, but I have not lost confidence. By the time Abiomed puts the AbioCor total artificial heart in a human (sometime later this year, I am told), I still expect my percentage gains to rival those I made on SUNW.

As far as SUNW, when I last sold it at 85 in January, I had made an extra 17 points on my multiple day trades. So, above 102, I will start to be paying extra for my conservative stance on SUNW.

I am crazy and strange, I know - looking at SUNW as risky, and ABMD for large probable gains. But, that is how I see it from here.

ABMD at 51 1/4 just now ...
