Wed 22 Mar 2000 News Release
Mr. David McDonald reports
Dianor Resources has received the first results of a first drilling program
executed on the 1404 project in James Bay. The campaign consisted in seven
holes for a total of 498 metres (1634 feet).
The first three holes were drilled under the Will, Gordie and Pierre
showings. The highlight of this work program is an intersection of 0.89
grams per tonne Au (0.026 ounces per ton) over 68.3 metres (225 feet) in
hole 1404-03 which was obtained in a stock work zone hosted within the
principal felsic intrusive. The type of mineralization is similar to the
one observed at surface in the Pierre trench. All assays were performed
with an atomic absorbtion method at the I T S and Norchem laboratories in
Val d'Or. The results of the principal mineralized zones are presented in
the following table.

Length Intervals Grade
Hole (m) (m) (g/t)/(m)

1404-01 33 13.7 - 16.8 1.03/ 3.1

1404-02 35 16.6 - 17.8 1.74/ 1.2
10.3 - 78.6 0.89/68.3

1404-03 97 10.3 - 78.6 1.31/36.9
Additional assays are pending and the results of the remaining four holes
will be released as soon as possible. The second phase of the work program
is currently in preparation and diamond drilling should resume shortly. The
equipment was left on-site in order to minimize delays in the start up of
the second phase of drilling.
