Wayne, My limited comprehension of the dynamics of this bubble, makes me wonder if the interest rate increases
will really have that much of an effect. My simple reasoning is that with credit card debt stratospherically
high, and most of that debt being carried at 8% plus, most
of the small investors are opting to play the market rather
than pay down their CC debt. If 8,10 15% isn't incentive
enough for them to pay off, seems that they really will play
the mania until the bitter end.
This is supper simplistic, but I do think it is indicative
of what the mindset is.
