I said they were leaders, not gorillas. I don't think you could argue that Sun and JDSU are not leaders in their respective markets.
Intel, on the other hand, wouldn't be considered a leader, at this point, in networking or optics. I hope they get there, but they have a lot to prove. So far they've only proved they can spend money, not make it.
