Interesting article. I'm a bit unsure why the add-on program they discussed would be necessary, though. My Netscape has offered the choice of what cookies to accept for years. I assume that IE does, too.

So far, the Naviscope program has done what it claims it will do. It shuts down most ads, and thereby speeds up page changes considerably. I also like the "speedometer" for bandwidth while surfing. One thing I've noticed is that it only tracks info to the primary browser, not all info going thru the modem. It is a pretty good little program, IMO, especially since it's free.<g>
