Carl, I must admit I am jealous of those with a cost basis of under $1-2 on either INTC, MSFT or CSCO - take your pick. How could I have been so stupid NOT to have bought even a little of either INTC or MSFT in the 80's or even early 90's? I never even heard of CSCO until 1994-95, as I recall. On the other hand, I am pleased with these avg costs: INTC - 35 MSFT - 19 CSCO - 35 RMBS - 51 EMC - 27 And I think you know how I feel about the wise use of margin. ;-) BTW, I'm @ +107% YTD. When I am as old as you are now, I hope that I will be repeating your difficult task of how to spend a small part of the annual increase in your portfolio. Barry
